well its off, my final major project is well underway! a few of my associates are a little worried i've set myself i bit too high a challenge but i'm fairly determined to prove them wrong! after all, if its not a challenge whats the use it doing it?

currently i have a sketchbook set out beside me catching up on studies of other designers work, wooden letters drying in the kitchen after i did the first layer of spray paint this afternoon, and half a dozen bits of paper pattern laying around while i figure out how to cut the pattern for my first dress design! the pattern cutting and making up of the toiles are something i'm not worried about in the slightest, the final makes are making me a bit uneasy (a lot of very intricate detail planned there, having a little bit of a problem sourcing 1/2 scaled lace motifs at the moment)

while i'm powering ahead with the pattern cutting and making i'm dragging a little behind with the in depth research, got plenty here its just in absolutely no order!

On a side note, research at the national bridal show this previous weekend was fantastic! got plenty sourced and even made a contact i'd never have found without going to the show and speaking up! just goes to show if you don't ask you don't get!
